This album was written the last week I lived in California. I had been there thirty years. This was a heartfelt, meaningful project and I had to give you something loving because you'd been so loving to me. Thank you for being my home, my heart, my teachers, my therapists, my kindred spirits, my fellow cooks in the kitchen. I see you, you matter. We're beautiful now, even more than ever.
